I've been having a wonderful time recently, taking photos of mums and their toddlers (mainly), and my inspiration for this is simple - my son, who is nearly (but not quite) two.  You might think I'm always taking photos of him, but usually it's only for a few moments, and often I like those shots of him from behind, intent on his latest project (putting gravel in a bucket, raking the grass, or building 'Duplos' as he calls it). I love watching small children with their obsessions - you can almost see their minds at work, building connections, growing with each new thought.  Watching young kids interact with each other can be hilarious, too, as they learn their social persona, and perhaps, some uncomfortable truths about not always being number one!
